Health Guarantee – Angelic Paw Pups

At Angelic Paw Pups, the health and wellbeing of our puppies are our highest priorities. We take every step to ensure that each puppy leaves our home healthy, well-cared for, and ready to join your family. This Health Guarantee outlines our responsibilities as breeders and your responsibilities as a new pet owner.

🐾 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee that your puppy is free from life-threatening hereditary or congenital conditions for up to 1 year from the date of adoption.

If your licensed veterinarian identifies a genetic condition that affects your puppy’s quality of life, Angelic Paw Pups will:

✔ Offer a replacement puppy of equal value

OR

✔ Offer a partial refund (as mutually agreed)

This guarantee applies only to verified genetic defects—not conditions caused by injury, neglect, stress, or environmental factors.

🩺 Healthy at Pickup or Delivery

Every puppy from Angelic Paw Pups comes with:

  • A current vaccination record

  • Deworming treatments

  • A vet health certificate

  • Nutritional guidance

  • Care instructions for smooth transition

We ensure each puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our premises.

💉 Vaccinations & Deworming

Your puppy will come up to date on:

  • Core puppy vaccines

  • Deworming schedule

  • Flea/tick prevention (if applicable)

We provide a full vaccination chart for your vet to continue the schedule.

🕒 48-Hour Vet Check Requirement

To maintain the validity of this guarantee, the buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving them.

This ensures:

✔ The puppy arrived in good health
✔ Any concerns are addressed early
✔ Continuity of medical records

Failure to complete this step voids the Health Guarantee.

❗ What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The Health Guarantee does not cover:

  • Minor, treatable conditions (colds, worms, parasites)

  • Hypoglycemia

  • Allergies

  • Stress-induced conditions from travel or home changes

  • Injuries after the puppy arrives

  • Neglect, poor diet, or improper care

  • Issues caused by improper training or environment

These are common puppy-related issues and the buyer is responsible for proper care.

🏡 Buyer’s Responsibilities

To ensure your puppy grows strong and healthy, you agree to:

  • Provide proper nutrition

  • Keep your puppy current on vaccines

  • Maintain flea, tick & worm prevention

  • Avoid exposing the puppy to unsafe environments

  • Provide clean shelter, safe space, and regular exercise

  • Seek veterinary care when needed
